TNT is making Wednesday its third night for drama with the new series from famed producer Jerry Bruckheimer, “Dark Blue” and returning series “Leverage.” “Dark Blue” stars Golden Globe winner Dylan McDermott, it delves into the dangerous world of undercover cops in Los Angeles. McDermott plays Lt. Carter Shaw, the head of a special undercover unit in the LAPD. Carter is a defiant tough guy with plenty of street smarts. His team must infiltrate criminal organizations in order to bring them down. Their work often requires them to eat, sleep and breathe on the opposite of the law.
“Dark Blue” is a dark and complex cop drama. The show also stars Omari Hardwick as Ty Curtis, a cop with lofty goals and ambition. Logan Marshall-Green plays Dean Bendis, the team's go to guy for getting things done. Dean is a quick thinker with a shoot-first ask-questions later attitude. Nicki Aycox is rookie team member Jaimie Allen. She was assigned to the team because she was able to get away with deceiving the LAPD about her past.
“Dark Blue” starts off with the murder of an undercover FBI agent. The team happens to be investigating the gang believed responsible for the murder. The show will tackle things you might expect from an undercover unit such as drugs and gun trafficking. “Dark Blue” Premieres Wednesday, at 10 p.m. on TNT.

“Leverage” returns for a second season. The show stars Timothy Hutton as a modern day Robin Hood. He is helped by a team of thieves and con artists that help regular folks get justice from people that misuse their wealth and power. The show also stars Gina Bellman and Christian Kane. “Leverage” premieres Wednesday, at 9 p.m. on TNT.
