When we think of back to school shopping, we think about how much money we as parents are going to have to spend. However, there are bargains to be had out there. With the economy doing so bad it is not just Mom and Dad's wallet that is left without a penny to spend, it's retailers too. Retailers are coming up with all kinds of ways to get buyers in their stores. This means big savings for Mom and Dad.

it seems as though with each passing year, the school supply list keeps getting bigger and bigger. Along with the school supply list growth as comes the growth of your child. This means lots of needs for your kids and lots of cash out of your pockets. As parents we look to save money any way we can. We all know that our kids like to be in fashion so this means we must keep up with their need to "fit in".

There are some great deals out there if you know where to look. While ordering online might be a little scary to you, you might find you are in for a few bargains that you will not find anywhere else. For instance, Walmart is offering shipping for 97 cents as part of their back to school discount offer. You spend more on gas money to go to the store than you would having your items shipped to you. Bed Bath and Beyond is offering FREE shipping right now on selected items. On orders over $48.00, JCPenny is offering free shipping. Childrens Place is only $5.00 for shipping and Gymboree is offering 40% off on all their back to school clothes.

So check out some of those major online stores and you might be very surprised at how much you can end up saving. My advise, stick with the well known stores. Some of the smaller independent stores online might not be all that secure. If you really want to secure your accounts when shopping online, call and talk to a sales representative over the phone. Save yourself time and money with online shopping. Help your kids and yourself enjoy the back to school shopping experience.
