Jack LaLanne celebrates 95 years

“I can’t afford to die – it would ruin my image.” Fitness enthusiasts can rest assured that, after celebrating his 95th birthday on September 26, Jack LaLanne’s (www.jacklalanne.com) image is still secure.
The “official” birthday celebration actually took place in Hollywood a couple of days earlier in a grand celebration sponsored by TriStar Products (http://www.tristarproductsinc.com/), manufacturer of the famous Jack LaLanne Power Juicer.
Non- fitness buffs will probably be encouraged by Jack’s temporary lack of discipline when he shared a piece of birthday cake with his wife Elaine. But, celebrating 95 years is worthy of a momentary lapse in sanity even for this fitness legend. Besides, he knows he can always burn up those extra calories at his nephew Chris’s San Francisco workout facility powered by CrossFit (http://www.lalannefitness.com/).
