There could not have been a more apt title for this ep, other than "Drag Me to Hell", but that is already taken. Sookie and Jason arrive back in Bon Temps only to see that the town and almost everyone they know and love has gone crazy. People are banging their heads against poles, having orgies and just going loco. There is no bigger proof of this than seeing Maxine Hoyt playing Wii.

Distressed by all the goings on, Sookie and Bill take a visit to her house or as Maryann tells them, "MY house." Fisticuffs are exchanged, resulting in Bill biting Maryann and getting sick from her blood (which is black, btw) and Sookie smacking Maryann and in the process emitting a glow, which Maryann finds enticing.

Meanwhile, Lafayette and Tara's mom try to save Tara, who is unreachable until she is glamoured by Bill, which causes Sookie to be able to enter Tara's mind and cure her.

There is no cure at Merlotte's where Sam and Andy are surrounded by townsfolk determined to bring Sam to Maryann so she can sacrifice him to her God. It is Jason to the rescue, who disguised as the deity that Maryann worships, causes the townsfolk to leave Sam alone.

Realizing that time is of the essence, Bill goes off to get help from the one person who may be able to save Bon Temps: the Vampire Queen of Lousiana.
