New scoop re "True Blood" has trickled in, courtesy of Kristen at Eonline and  as always, it is intriguing. For those who don't want any possible spoilers, cease and desist here. For all you bloodthirsty fang bangers (and you know who you are), read on:

-Sookie and Jason will reunite at some point and they will be on the same side, joining together for a common cause.

-Godric, the missing vamp that Eric has sent Sookie to find, turns up on the July 19th ep, along with two of his minions, one of whom takes a liking to Sookie and is apparently supportive of her relationship with Bill.

-The second season finale takes place only two weeks after the season finale of the first season.

Interesting tidbits that raise quite a few questions. If Sookie and Jason join for a common cause, does that mean that they are both fighting vamps or has Jason given up his vamp hating ways and are he and Sookie fighting another foe?

If Godric turns up seemingly safe and sound, where was he and why did he disappear in the first place? Does Godric come to Bon Temps and if so, what does that do to the vamp hierarchy there? Does Eric become the number 2 vamp instead of the number 1 vamp?

Lastly, it seems that the the finale will be action packed. To borrow a phrase from "Buffy" mythology, you can't help but wonder what the Big Bad will be.
