Gene Bisbee at bikingbis.com was on the story of the negotiation of broadcast rights to the Tour Down Under early. And as Versus figured out the best way to televise an event on the other side of the world and nearly a day ahead, Bisbee kept up with the news.
I'm glad he's doing the math and figuring out what the network is doing because the news of each day of the Tour Down Under (Jan. 20-25) will be "old news" by the time Versus (formerly Outdoor Life Network) broadcasts it.
Bisbee is also reporting Phil Liggett, the ageless and wondrous voice of bicycling race (and Lance Armstrong's good friend) will interview the seven-time Tour de France winner making his comeback in Tour Down Under after each stage of the race.
The complete schedule of Versus' schedule, according to mathematician Bisbee is available on his site.
