Last week, a few weeks after the debut of the national cycling site on Examiner.com, I was curious to know what kind of traffic was being generated by the most popular cycling web sites.
The piece received nice feedback, most notably from editors from some of the sites listed as well as from industry insiders who provided updated numbers and mentioned the URLs of a few other sites.
Sean Weide, who provides public relations and marketing for Elevation Sports & Marketing, forwarded an updated list of the top 20 most popular cycling web sites and their respective average daily page views.
The sites are content and geographically diverse, based everywhere from France to Australia and using every approach from blog-oriented to 24-hour news cycle formats.
Here’s the revised top 20. I encourage readers to forward their cycliing site favorites.
