As stores begin stocking shelves with notebooks, pens, pencils and backpacks it can only mean one thing – Back to School! But these days, Back to School savings aren’t just for the kids. Budget shopping is a family affair, and a number of popular stores are getting the memo. This weekend, make it a point to check out two favorite haunts of budget conscious, stylistas everywhere.
Old Navy
Back to School gear for the kids at Old Navy is going for $10 this weekend. But fashionistas can build a wardrobe full of staples – including tees, jeans, blazers, button downs and accessories – for less here too. This weekend (August 7 – 13) you can get their mandarin-collar henley tee (pictured), the item of the week, for only $9! Cute, colorful and perfect for layering, these long-sleeved tees (regularly $17.50) are perfect for evenings on the beach, football games in the fall or layering in the winter.
JC Penney
This weekend, JC Penney is out to help all the Back to School shoppers, even if you aren’t going to school. First, be sure to check out their night and day “door busters” deals. Friday from 3pm – 10pm and Saturday from 7am – 1pm you can get huge discounts a clothing, shoes and accessories. Additionally, there are coupons for $10 and $15 off purchases of $75 or more from the JC Penney catalogue and website. And, as if that wasn’t enough, there is a storewide clearance sale of 70% off of original prices on select items. You could be one fashionable diva for pennies on the dollar!
