In world where an Ed Hardy tank top will run you upwards of $150 it’s refreshing to know that budget conscious shoppers can find cute, comfortable wears at reasonable prices in the Philadelphia area. Wednesday marked the launch of Pretty Pink Fish, a “pretty and witty” line of tee shirts. TONY, a local retailer who will be carrying the line, hosted a “Tee” Party – complete with iced tea and lemon TastyKake krimpets – in honor of the launch.

About Pretty Pink Fish
After covering the fashion industry for years, Pretty Pink Fish founder Erica Salmon teamed up with designer Lisa Morgey to try their hand in the fashion world. The result? A fun, smart, coy and fashionable tee shirt line that leaves wearers looking and feeling fabulous without an ounce of shoppers remorse. Each shirt, priced at only $36, is pink and comes in short or long sleeved styles, sized from small through extra large. Currently there are four designs to choose from – “Bag Addict,” “Shoe Addict,” “Sole Searching” (a personal fave!), and “Love at Purse Sight.” All four designs are carried at TONY and are also available online via TONY’s website (http://www.tonyonthird.com/catalog/c1_p1.html). Additionally, Pretty Pink Fish will be launching new designs in the coming months. Anybody rocking one of these tees will feel fabulous, fashionable and fun. What more can you ask in a tee shirt?

About TONY
TONY’s own description as a “chic boutique for swanky dolls” is as accurate as they come. Located in Old City on third street, this store is a gem and should be a regular stop for anyone who frequents the neighborhood. TONY, owned by Pamela Dollak, houses fashionable clothing, jewelry, accessories and lingerie (in the Panty Parlour – don’t you love it!). This boutique sells glamorous items without the often glamorous price tags attached; some items, like the chic sunglasses, start at just $15. A girl can leave the boutique feeling like a million dollars – without spending nearly that much. The clothing pieces are well-designed, well-made and will have you looking like you stepped right off the runways of Paris or Milan. You really can’t beat that.
