Bobbi Brown has the right idea. A healthy glow looks great in the summer, but since sunscreen is important to one’s health, a little bronzer gives the perfect amount of color. There are some great ones on the market today. Some are cream or gel, while others are pressed or loose powder.
Applying bronzer is fun and easy, but try to place it where the sun would naturally. It can be brushed or smoothed all over the face, or applied in a 3 (or E). To do this, start at the forehead and sweep down to the cheeks, then to the chin and repeat on the other side.
Here are some bronzers that are a little different, but all are very good at giving that sun-kissed glow:
Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder ($33.00) – This bronzer is available in 6 sunny shades, from golden, to rosy to deep. This matte bronzer would look lovely on all skin tones and is appropriate for day or evening looks. This sheer tint also repairs and protects skin from UV damage.
Milani Sunset Duos Blush and Bronzer ($6.49 ) — This is a wonderful product! The compact includes two shades, a shimmery bronzer and a complimentary blush. It comes in 6 duos. Try 01 Sunset City, which is a shimmery light brown bronzer and a pretty peachy blush. What a fresh look for summer!
Josie Maran Bronzing Argan Oil ($52.00) – Looking for a natural bronzer that is good for the skin? Try this bronzing oil made with 100% organic argan oil. This will give a hint of color with out the harmful rays of the sun or harsh chemicals.
