There's more than one kind of yoga. Most people think of yoga as bending the body into poses. But there is another kind of yoga called Yoga Nidra that only uses only the "corpse pose" while the mind reaches a state of deep relaxation by slowly focusing on the body, one part at a time.

Yoga Nidra is a great stress reliever and calms the mind and body.

Although Yoga Nidra can certainly be done alone, sometimes a guided class can help teach the meditation method.

If you're looking for a class in Yoga Nidra meditation, the Body Glyphix Studio is offering one on Tuesday, October 6th at 7:30 pm. The fee is $10.00. Please call for pre-registration: 652-7805. Body Glyphix Studio is located at 12377 Big Tree Road, Wales Center.
