President Logan (Gregory Itzin) will return to the universe of "24" this January.  Itzin will reprise his villainous role for a multi-episode arc on the real-time thriller's eighth season.

The last time viewers saw Logan, he was being rushed into an ambulance after being stabbed by his ex-wife Martha.  As of season six, when Logan last appeared, he was on house arrest after his involvement in a conspiracy that resulted in a multitude of deaths, including former President David Palmer.

Season eight of "24" will take place in New York.
