Sarah Palin continues to defeat her ethically-challenged critics.
Of the 18 complaints filed with the Alaska Personnel Board, Palin has been exonerated in 15 of them, although she agreed to reimburse the state $10,000 for some trips her children made with her in the Last Frontier. That makes her 14-0-1 by my count with three items pending. I'm being generous with the tie because that complaint was actually dismissed.
All but three of the complaints were lodged after Sen. John McCain named her his vice presidential nominee last August. At least two organizations have started raising funds to help Palin pay some $600,000 in legal debt due to the complaints, with over $100,000 coming in on one of them. www.conservatives4palin.com/ sarahpac.com/
Alaska makes it fairly easy to file the complaints, and Palin has complained about political bloggers abusing state law. As far as liberals go, they probably think "why not?"
When will the complaints stop? Oh, not any time soon.
One thing's for sure, the left's rabid hatred of this woman will keep her in the spotlight.
The Palin name is definitely hot right now. Just a few days ago I saw an advertisement for a Sedona-based resort using her name as a promo. You click on the ad, answer a question about her, and they try to get you to come to their resort. This is not the only company doing this. Newsmax has been doing it for some time too.
Here's a spoof: A liberal site is trying to get donations by using Palin's name. They simply are mis-spelling her first name. This is just another example of liberals trying to get your money for their pet projects. Better watch your wallet. sarapac.com/
Note: A 15th complaint was dismissed on June 23, 2009. community.adn.com/adn/node/141983
