Fans petition to get Adam Lambert on Days of our Lives

At today's Days of our Lives fan event, during the cast question and answer section, an audience member asked Lauren Koslow who plays Kate a question. The fan mentioned that the show had American Idol Runner-up Clay Aiken on a few years ago, and that a group of people have a petition our to get Adam Lambert on the show. The fan asked Koslow what are the chances of that happening were. Koslow asked the crowd what they thought to a very positive response. The actress then said "did you hear that, powers that be" to the show's executives that were at the event and she also noted that the Q&A was being taped. "Days" is celebrating its 44th anniversary on Monday, November 9. Lindsay Hartley, who plays Arianna is a U2 fan, and an audience member offered her his extra ticket to go see the band when they return to Anaheim in June. Wally Kurth, who plays Justin, has a band called "Kurth and Taylor". The band has performed on and produced songs for General Hospital, where he played Ned, including the 2002 Emmy award-winning song "Barefoot Ballet."
Joseph Mascolo, who plays Stefano on the show, has a classical music background. Six-year old Terrell Ransom Jr, who plays Theo, was born into a multi-generational family of musicians, singers, & artists, led the crowd in a rendition of "Happy Birthday" as the anniversary cake was rolled out on stage.
