The 19th Annual Simply Divas Singing! concert was held recently at the Saban Theatre (formerly The Wilshire Theater) in Beverly Hills,California.

The incredible all-star line up included original Dreamgirls Sheryl Lee Ralph and Loretta Devine along with Yolanda Adams, Brenda Russell, Jenifer Lewis, Yo Yo, Barbara Morrison, Frenchie Davis, N'dambi, Faith Evans,Tamia, All 4 One, Kelly Price, Athena Rene, Gabi Wilson, and Sam Harris.

Created and produced by Ralph, Divas Simply Singing! is an annual benefit concert, produced in conjunction with The Diva (Divinely Inspired Victoriously Anointed) Foundation to help to raise money and awareness about HIV/AIDS. Divas Simply Singing! is the longest consecutive running AIDS benefit concert in Los Angeles and has raised millions of dollars to help and assist AIDS organizations in Los Angeles and around the world.

The incredible show began with host Sheryl Lee Ralph, singing , talking about the show and showing her talents as a comedianne as well. She sported seven costumes changes and showed a video of all the years of work with the foundation. She even provided her staff of volunteers with trophies for all their hard work on the show.

Jenifer Lewis came out and entertained the crowd with jokes and even sang "The Star Spangled Banner" which she called her song to Barack.

Yolanda Adams appeared singing two beautiful gospel songs.

Jazz and Blues legend Barbara Morrison performed "Sundown".

Television, Broadway and recording star Sam Harris bought the house down earning a standing ovation for his rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

12 year old Gabi Wilson sang and played piano on two songs, Alicia Keys "If I Ain't Got You" and Donny Hathaway's " A Song For You".

Frenchie Davis, who has made a name for herself in musical theater and on American Idol, performed "Home" from The Wiz..

Shena, a new singer from London, England, performed her current single "My Fantasy".

Singers Devine Brown, Jessica Reedy and N'dambi each performed a song and Athena Rene a classical trained flautist, entertained the crowd with jazz version of "Deja Vu.

The Grammy award winning band All For One performed the biggest hit "I Swear" and their new single "My Child".

Loretta Devine performed a crowd pleasing version of Jazmine Sullivan's " Bust The Window".

Rapper Yo Yo got the crowd on their feet performing her hit single "You Can't Play With My Yo Yo".

Brenda Russell, who performed on the 1st Diva Simply Singing, sang "Get Here", a song she wrote that was a hit for Oleta Adams.

Tamia and Kelly Price, who have formed a group with Deborah Cox called The Queen Project, each performed a song.

Faith Evans closed the show with her hits "Again" and " Love Like This Before".

At the end of the three hour plus show, all the performers returned to the stage for the ending finale, performing " Man In The Mirror", a tribute to Michael Jackson.

This was one fantastic event and no one went home disappointed. The show will be produced on DVD with sales going to the foundation.
