Two moms spend $28,000 each to have Twilight star kiss their daughters

(AP Photo/Matt Sayles) How much is a vampire kiss worth? Apparently $28,000 each. Two moms bid on the chance to kiss Robert Pattinson, the actor who plays Edward in the Twilight movies. They plan to let their daughters have the honor of the kisses, lucky girls. There was no word on whether the women considered themselves Twilight Moms, but I am guessing they do.
The bidding was part of an auction in Cannes, France benefitting AIDS research. Other items at the auction: a saxophone signed by former president Bill Clinton and a striptease from actor Josh Hartnett.
I'm not sure I would spend that kind of money for a kiss, especially if it wasn't even for me, but it's all for a good cause, right?
