Sure, it's hot and the last place you're even thinking about going is outside. It's time to plan ahead to Saturday, when the weather will be a lot cooler, because Pops in the Park is happening Saturday evening at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.
This fun and free annual event is a great way for families to spend time together and hear great music. Bring a picnic dinner, throw blanket on the lawn, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the garden. The music will be provided by the Bonnie Birch International Band and will showcase international music with accordions, congo drums, guitar, sax/clarinets, and more.
The fun begins at 5:30pm and there will be entertainment for the kids, too. Genii the Clown will be on hand to provide laughter and fun. There will also be free frozen treats handed out! Don't worry, by Saturday you'll be ready to dance outside and have a great time.
