"There's nothing like the smell of a new car!"
You've been thinking about a new car -- buyer's market, and all; one that gets better gas mileage -- and gets your hybrid-driving, green-preaching neighbor off your back, too -- but...
Haven't been on a vacation for a while? You want to travel somewhere, anywhere this summer, but with gas prices creeping up, there's just no way.
Well, take heart. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), President Obama recently signed a new law -- Title III: Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Program - that will knock $3500 to $4500 off the price of a new fuel-efficient model, as if by magic. Really!
What's The Catch?
The Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) program ONLY runs from July 1 to November 1, 2009. IF your clunker qualifies AND you buy or lease a NEW car or truck from a REGISTERED dealership, the rebate price will be applied to your purchase price and, KA-CHING --new car, happy neighbor, and vacation!
