In January of 2009 yahoo News highlighted an article titled Israel ammo in Gaza had depleted uranium, with the URL http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090119/ap_on_re_eu/eu_nuclear_israel_gaza. If you click on the URL now, you will receive the error "Article not found or expired on Yahoo! News."
The article stated ammunition used on Palestinians civilians in Gaza contained depleted uranium. The same story was published by other news sources. Israel's leading online English publication Haaretz picked up the story from the Associated Press: Arab states say Israel used ammo in Gaza that contained depleted uranium.
In February of 2009, Yahoo News highlighted an article titled Chavez reports attempted coup, with the URL http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090212/wl_afp/venezuelacouppolitics. The coup had apparently taken place in February, and the article asserted a US connection. If you click on the URL now, you will receive the same error "Article not found or expired on Yahoo! News."
Articles related to the 2002 coup show up, but articles for the 2009 coup do not.
