Over the years, Police Motor Officers have put up with the ever changing circus of city Managers, who purchase motorcycles based price per unit and maintenance cost, instead of safety.

Police motor Officer's have mounted everything over the years from Harley Davidson's, BMW's to the new kid on the block, Honda 1300's. Now Honda is a fine machine, for the short trip around town. However for a motor officer this motorcycle is on the small, sportbike side.

For the Officers who are still mounting the BMW 1200 RT-P bikes, there is hope...BMW recently developed a new mount for the AR-15/M4 COMBAT RIFLE.

The mount comes complete with shielded cable to operate the electric weapons lock, which secures the weapon grip. A hidden push button and connections are also included. The rifle mount protects the trigger, magazine and ejector.

For the Police departments who understand the role of their motor officers on the street, the following information will help you contact BMW to purchase a few.

Now, all of this is based on the condition that the police department has not switched over to Honda, or if the department has a M4 rifle to issue their officers. If none of the above is true, then the department must start  thinking about the men & women who are exposed all day long with only their 9 mm handgun.

BMW part number 65 14 2 153 836  MSRP $ 599.00

Please contact your local BMW dealer for further information on how to protect your Officers. If you care!
