The world class Westin Crown Center earned Favorite Hotel or Bed and Breakfast in the 2009 Visitors’ Choice Awards.

The waterfall in the lobby may be the first clue that staying at the Westin is no ordinary hotel experience. The lobby also flows seamlessly into the 85 acre Crown Center complex of which the hotel is a part. Here guests have access to three stories of theatres, shops and restaurants; including the city’s only Mobil four star restaurant, the American.

Getting around the city from here is a breeze and you are close to many other visitor favorites. The hotel provides ample covered parking and a line of taxis await the call of the doorman. For the budget conscious the Max stops right outside.

The hotel’s location on the southern edge of downtown puts you minutes from the award winning Country Club Plaza, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, voted this year’s Favorite Museum or Gallery. The Westin is also connected by “The Link” to Union Station, Visitors’ Choice for Favorite Museum or Historical Site.
