He started the project with friend and co-founder Justin Polera, who transferred from the Art Institute. They both had business ideas involving the arts and they wanted to work together in creating a product for the mass market.
Thus Flux Collection was born- a mix of community participation with a fine art stamp of approval. Their plans are to create images of wearable art from classical to modern for everyone to wear from tshirts to bags.
Ahsan entered the contest sponsored by Entrepreneur Magazine, enthusiastic that he met the needs for the publication that he respected highly.

They marketed themselves through Facebook, Twitter, Massmails, and the newspapers at UIC and received help from supportive staff.
So after all the hard work, marketing, and voting, one would ask what it would mean to be College Entrepreneur of 2009. Ahsan says that right now the company is in the beta phase and is looking to get the resources to get larger and showcase more artists.
After graduation, Ahsan wants to help local entrepreneurs with the mindset of the social good, continue his work with Flux Collection, and combine positive changes in community with business.
