Daxter vs. hive queen

Well, it was about 11:30 p.m. last night when I got rather frustrated. I found myself (well Daxter) face-to-face with a rather large queen-bug that seems to be indefensible. My good buddy on the Daxter walky-talky keeps telling me that my bug spray, when sprayed to it’s head, will affect her negatively. So far, I had no such luck. I had been circling this big bug for about an hour trying to kill it.
I finally think I found a little glimmer of hope by positioning Daxter just so – right in front of and a little to the left of the giant bug. I only had seconds to get a good bug spray shot off. Oh…one thing I forgot to mention about this giant monster is that while you’re trying to shoot at him, she’s shooting at you. So, even though I’ve found my perfect positioning, she ends up taking up more of my life than I do of hers.
This is definitely the part that I really don’t like about video games. I had been going along oh so well, cleaning up Haven City and having fun dreams, but this particular bug has different plans.
20 Minutes Later
FINALLY…VINDICATION! I gave that bug exactly what she had coming to her! I found a better way to spray her, but then she decided to jump all over the place, which was actually more beneficial to me b/c then I could get to her vulnerable spot easier.
The bottom line: Never give up. I was this close to just turning off my PSP, but instead I decided to come vent my anger to you and then try again.
For now, I’ll be tucking Daxter in for the night.
