'Grey's Anatomy' went home empty-handed Sunday night at the 61st Emmy Awards after series stars Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh both lost in the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category to Cherry Jones of '24'.

Wilson and Oh were both present at the awards ceremony and didn't show any signs of disappointment at not hearing their names called. Oh was luminous in a sparkly, neutral colored strapless gown. Wilson, who presented an award earlier in the evening with former 'Grey's' star Kate Walsh, wore a black and white floral gown. Wilson also lost in the Best Actress in a Television Movie category to Jessica  Lange.

Despite their losses tonight, the 'Grey's' cast and their fans have much to celebrate this week, as the show will finally return for its sixth season on Thursday. Hopefully the new season will provide the cast with great material that will have their names back on the nominees' list next year. But in the meantime, feel free to commiserate about this year's losses in the comments section.
