ABC has released the premiere dates for most of its fall schedule, and 'Grey's Anatomy' is slated to return at 9 pm EST on Thursday, September 24, following the series premiere of the new drama 'Flash Forward'. 'Grey's' spin-off 'Private Practice' is expected to return at 10 pm on Thursdays, but no premiere date has been set as of today.
So this means there are exactly fourteen weeks and two days before we learn if Izzie and George survive, if Alex will start the season off as a widower or a newlywed, if Owen and Cristina can make it work, if Callie's family will be able to accept her relationship with Arizona, if Mark will make good on his promise to buy a house, if Lexie's really doesn't want to marry him for five or ten years, if Bailey will find a way juggle her career with single motherhood, and whether or not Meredith and Derek will ever have a real wedding.
Who's excited to have the premiere date set? And who thinks Sept. 24 is much too far away? Let your voice be heard in the comments section.
