Stephenie Meyer, who wrote the best-selling books "Twilight" and "New Moon," will only be making one TV appearance to promote her upcoming film adaptation "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." She will be appearing Friday on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
The author announced the news on her official blog:
"You know I've been doing the hermit thing this last year, in so far as media is concerned, and I'm not changing that now, but I am making an exception. I'm doing this for a good reason: I am so pleased and amazed and thrilled with what Chris Weitz has done with New Moon that I want to talk about it, and to show my support for him. And since I'm only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big...I will be on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday, November 13th."
Meyer elaborated in saying that the majority of the questions asked would be of the generic variety, but she would take on a few more specific queries at the film series' official site.
Are you excited that Meyer will be talking to Oprah? Let me know your thoughts with a comment below! "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" will debut in theaters on November 20.
