'Jon and Kate Plus 8:' Jon Gosselin's former 'fling' issued court papers

Jon Gosselin has another reason to worry.
Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin will now have to face yet another person when he battles TLC in court on December 14. Unfortunately for him, it's not going to be a particularly friendly face. According to TMZ Kate Major, the former Star Magazine reporter who supposedly had a "fling" with Gosselin, will be handed a subpoena to appear in court.
Jon and the woman comically referred to as "Kate 2.0" originally met when Major was doing a story on him, and the two ultimately ended up spending a few days in the Hamptons together with fellow celebrity dad Michael Lohan. After Jon ultimately returned to girlfriend Hailey Glassman, Major went on a publicity blitz claiming that Jon "used" her in saying that the two of them would be together. Jon has frequently denied that the two of them ever had a relationship, even though he himself has issued some signs to the contrary.
What evidence does Major have that could potentially help TLC? Outside of being very close to Jon over a span of a few weeks it is currently hard to determine what good she will do. More than likely TLC is just trying to secure some more proof that Jon deliberately went against his contract by making public appearances for cash.
