Seth MacFarlane, known by millions as the creator of "Family Guy," tried something a little bit different on Sunday night by debuting "Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show." It was a way for him and show co-star Alex Borstein to bring some of their trademark comedy into the world of live action, and in terms of drawing laughter from the audience it appeared to be success.
However, the special has also brought on itself quite a bit of controversy over jokes made at Oscar-winning deaf actress (and former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant) Marlee Matlin. Borstein did everything from talk to sing as Matlin, and she was quickly interrupted during the "performance" by the actress herself. As you can see in the clip below, Matlin had quite a creative method in which to get back at Borstein for her off-color jokes.
So it's pretty obvious that Matlin was in on the joke the entire time, even if she had to endure a few minutes of mockery beforehand. What did you think of the bit: was it funny, or were you just a tad uncomfortable watching it? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and as always check back soon for more TV news.
