'Jon and Kate Plus 8:' does Jon Gosselin admit to multiple relationships?

Did Jon Gosselin admit to being with multiple women?
Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin made a public appearance Sunday night at the West Side Jewish Center in Manhattan, and spent over an hour discussing his relationship woes in front of a small crowd of mostly journalists (with a few fans sprinkled in for good measure).
While some of it contained content that we already know (such as Jon's regret for doing things so publicly and desire to reconcile as friends with Kate), he also had one statement that may serve as a subtle sort of admission to something Jon has frequently denied in the past: being with multiple women since the divorce filing last June. During the forum, Jon said the following:
“I want to apologize to Kate in private. I’ll apologize to her for openly having relationships in the public eye. That was a huge mistake, because if she would’ve done that to me, I would have been extremely pissed off. Not because our relationship is over, it’s almost like a stab in the back. And now that I think about it, it was a very wrong thing to do. I definitely regret it.”
Before Sunday night, Jon has held to the belief that the only girl he has been with since Kate filed for divorce was Hailey Glassman, even going so far once as to using the statement "I'm not a womanizer. I'm in love." However, the idea of "openly having relationships" seems to contradict this claim. He visited the Hamptons with former tabloid reporter Kate Major in July, and he has also been seen spending alone time at his Pennsylvania home with babysitter Stephanie Santoro. While both Santoro and Major have exploited their relationship with Jon over the past couple of months for added publicity, Jon did let these people into his inner circle close enough that they could. Was Jon romantic with them? That all depends on who you ask, but in reading between the lines of Jon's statement it looks incredibly likely.
