It's not any surprise that ABC's "V" pulled in a smaller ratings number for episode two; the size of the drop, however, is an entirely different story. The remake of the 1980s sci-fi phenomenon pulled in 10.6 million viewers on Tuesday night, including a 3.7 rating in the beloved 18-49 demographic. It's a 29% decrease from the debut, which marks the steepest drop for any new show this fall.
However, it was almost expected that "V" would suffer a big hit considering that it is up against such competition as "NCIS" and "The Biggest Loser." However, the show will need to keep the action going if they wish to stick around for the rest of the season. After an action-packed premiere, the show's second episode seemed to stall at times in switching from one storyline to the next.
What did you think about the second episode of "V?" With such a strong cast full of genre veterans like Joel Gretsch and Elizabeth Mitchell, let's hope they keep the writing strong moving forward. Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more TV news.
