Kelsey Grammer's "Hank" is officially no more. According to a new report by Entertainment Weekly, ABC has officially pulled the plug on the sitcom after a series of low ratings and increasingly bad reviews. There are currently no plans to air the remaining episodes of the series.
The last episode of the show (airing November 4) managed only 5.3 million viewers, putting ABC only 1.3 million ahead of "America's Next Top Model" on The CW. All of ABC's other comedies fared much better in the ratings, and also appeared to have more of a dedicated fan base.
For Kelsey Grammer, this is just another sign that audiences haven't connected with the guy since he was Frasier Crane. He had another sitcom on Fox, "Back to You," that was also canned after one season.
