In the world of television, no one makes more than "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell. According to a new listing by Forbes, Cowell reportedly made $75 million in the past year. Granted, not all of this consisted of his "Idol" earnings, as the listing also took into account Cowell's producing duties and money intake from the music business. However, he still raked in $25 million than Donald Trump, who hosted "Celebrity Apprentice" in addition to having a huge empire.
It doesn't look like Simon will be dropping off this list anytime soon, either; the judge recent signed a new deal to keep on "Idol" worth $144 million in total. If his other series, "X Factor," becomes popular in America he could feasibly earn $100 million a year just from being a part of it and "Idol."
