A new web video for Thursday's episode of "Survivor: Samoa" suggests that the show's resident villain, Russell Hantz, could be in even more danger of going home. The clip (which you can see below) shows that a number of people on the merged Aiga tribe (including former Foa Foa member Jaison) appear to be gunning for him.
However, can we believe exactly everything we're seeing? Generally "Survivor" has a history of misleading us with clips, and this time around it could be no exception. Like Sierra from last season, if Russell does leave during an episode it probably won't be the one where he is targeted the most. The video suggests that it could be a race to the finish between him and Laura for the next immunity, and maybe he is saved as a product of that.
Even if Russell is safe this week, it's hard to imagine that Galu would be so crazy as to vote out one of their own. With Shambo likely to flip to the Foa Foa 4 at any time, this is where they have to take somebody out. If Russell isn't the one heading home, Mick and Jaison appear to be the two most likely targets leaving Samoa on Thursday.
Do you think Russell has a chance of sticking around? Let me know your thoughts with a comment below!
