'Jon and Kate Plus 8:' Jon and Kate Gosselin get the cold shoulder

"Jon and Kate Plus 8" stars Jon and Kate Gosselin have been losing fans at a fairly rapid pace since their divorce announcement last June, and now it looks like they are even being looked down upon with shame by some fellow members of the reality TV community.
On Tuesday at the Fox Reality Awards the couple (who was not present for the event) was booed pretty much anytime they were mentioned, and they also didn't exactly receive a warm reception from some of the celebrities. Former "America's Next Top Model" winner Adrianne Curry said they should "hang up their towel," and other people from internet queen Cindy Margolis to "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Gretchen Rossi believed that putting the kids through this kind of drama was the real problem; the parents, meanwhile, should be able to do whatever they want.
The divorce announcement, though, is far and away the least of Jon and Kate's worries at this point. Jon has to figure out a way to get at least $155,000 back in the couple's join bank account before October 26 (some reports out there say the number is actually $180,000), and Kate has to figure out what her TV future will be now that it looks like TLC will be ending "Jon and Kate Plus 8" simply because there's no way to keep shooting the children without Jon's permission. If he ever changes his mind, a new show called "Kate Plus Eight" can begin; unfortunately, Kate's best option now seems to be a still-untitled TLC project that just stars her away from the kids.
