Popular TV pitchman Billy Mays apparently did not die due to cocaine use, after all. Months after an initial autopsy was performed claiming that the drug had an impact in Mays's death, a new autopsy (done at the request of the family) showed no cocaine use on the day of his death.
TMZ obtained a portion of the report earlier Thursday: "There is no evidence that Mr. Mays' death was related to acute cocaine intoxication."
However, this report does confirm that Billy Mays had cocaine in his system and used it some point before his death; it just wasn't what ultimately caused him to collapse in his house on June 28. In addition to being a frequent presence on commericals and informercials, Mays starred in the Discovery show "Pitchmen" with Anthony Sullivan.
