"American Idol" winner Kris Allen is proving that he can cover more than just songs by The Script. The singer reportedly performed at an all-girl high school on Thursday as part of an incentive for a charity fundraiser, and he delivered a smooth and funky performance of "...Baby One More Time," Britney Spears' first #1 hit.
Kris Allen's debut album will be in stores on November 17, one week before runner-up Adam Lambert and two weeks prior to the release of Alison Iraheta's self-titled debut. Last we heard, though, the current track list for the album was still being decided.
Check out Kris Allen's performance below: do you think he should channel Britney Spears more often? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below and as always stay tuned for more "American Idol" news.
