Nintendos new bad boy the DSi, has been rumored to be released in the the summer of this year, but now according to sources from IGN.com, Nintendo might be planning the release of the system on April 4, 2009.
Not long ago Nintendo president Satoru Iwata claimed that the regular DS has "room to grow in 2009". If thats the case then why release the upgrade in April? I know, confusing right?
If the sources at IGN are correct, then it will hit the shelves in the US on Saturday April 4. To take one of these beauties home will cost ya a nice $179.99 in stores. Worth it? Well, thats up for you guys to tell, but it does have some pretty slick features up its sleeve. Read some cool reviews on the Nintendo site here.
