Star Wars: The Old Republic

Ok folks take a breath and prepare for some delicious Star Wars news. EA and BioWare announced recently the title of their new MMORPG. Star Wars: The Old Republic is the new brainchild of the highly acclaimed EA and BioWare studios.
SWTOR (cool new acronym) will be based of the ever popular Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic or (KOTOR) series. BioWare announced at a press conference that they joke about SWTOR being pretty much like KOTOR 3, 4, and 5.
The game is set 3,500 years before the rise of Vader, and about 300 years after the KOTOR games. Players enter at the hight of uneasy tension between the Sith Empire, and Galactic Republic. Players have a choice to play for either side each with their own subclasses. BioWare has said that every class will retain its own story and that players will never hear the same dialog if they play both sides.
So for all the huge Star Wars fans like myself out there, EA and BioWare just gave us a ray of hope just when we thought all the juice had been squeezed from the Star Wars fruit. I will have more information in the coming weeks, until then you can check out the website at www.swtor.com
