Sarah Palin Signs Book

If you're looking for a good read to pass onto your homeschooled students, family and/or friends this Christmas season; here's three great books worth the read:

Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom.  Author of Tuesdays With Morrie and For One More Day, Albom was raised Jewish & his previous writings have involved wisdom from a Jewish Rabbi he spent days with gaining knowledge before his death.  This new book jumps into an entirely different faith.  It tells of having hope in the midst of your lowest point.  It is the story of Pastor Henry Covington who was in prison for dealing drugs and turned his life around.  He now runs I Am My Brother's Keeper Ministries in downtown Detroit.  Proceeds from the book will go to help put a new roof on the church which currently has a gaping hole in it.  Have A Little Faith can be purchased at Amazon.com or at your local Borders or Barnes & Noble.

Going Rogue by Sarah Palin - Sarah Palin, The Replublican 2008 Vice-Presidential Candidate, wrote the book to reveal events in her life that brought her to the person she is today.  Going Rogue can be purchased for a discounted price of $14.50 from your local WalMart stores online for a limited time, or at Borders, Barnes & Noble and various other local St. Louis bookstores.

A Simple Christmas by Mike Huckabee.  Mike Huckabee is a talk show host with the Huckabee show that airs on Fox News Channel on Sunday evenings in St. Louis.  He was also previously Governor of Arkansas and in the running for Presidential candidate early in 2008.  His book tells of 12 stories that are inspiring including one big story about a Christmas in his life - The worst year of his life which turned out to be the best.  He was newly married and his wife had been diagnosed with cancer.  They sat in their small apartment that one Simple Christmas realizing it was the best Christmas of their lives because they had the gift of life.
