Some adoptable dogs will be at KCMO's Starlight Theatre waiting for their big break: a new family.

The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City is bringing some of its dogs to the venue for the Legally Blonde shows July 2 - 3. You can meet these wonderful canines from 6 - 8:30 p.m.

HSGKC is also need of supply donations. When you bring an item from the shelter's Sit Up & Beg wish list, you'll get a Starlight coupon good for $4 off a future ticket purchase, or 10 percent off select merchandise in the Starlight Ovation store. Things the shelter particularly needs are dog toys, leashes, collars and treats.

Starlight Theatre is located at 4600 Starlight Rd., right by the Kansas City Zoo. All dogs used in Legally Blonde, by the way, are former shelter dogs.
