Two meetings are on the dog agenda this week …
The KCMO Parks and Recreation Department will hold another public hearing to discuss potential locations for off-leash dog parks. The 3rd Council District hearing will be Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Blue Valley PAL Center (1801 White). Blue Valley Park is under consideration in this district. Find out where future KCMO dog-park hearings will be here.
And the Northland Animal Welfare Society (NAWS) holds its general meeting for volunteers on Friday, Nov. 6 at Paul & Jack's Tavern (1808 Clay St., KCMO). NAWS asks that you bring a used blanket, throw or quilt for Halfway Home Pet Adoptions. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
