John Travolta was back on the stand in a Bahamas courtroom to discuss the extortion demand. Travolta mentioned he first hear of the extortion from his assistant in January.
Travolta was on the stand for only 25 minutes. He told the jury that a paramedic had threatened to sell stories to the news media suggesting the movie star was at fault in the death of his 16-year-old son. Travolta appeared in court with his wife Kelly Preston. Both of them hurried into the court room as they were swarmed with paparazzi.
Travolta's son Jett had died (two weeks prior to Travolta being threatened for money), on January 2nd, from a seizure at the family's vacation villa in the Bahamas. Travolta claims the ambulance driver, Tarino Lightbourne, wanted $25 million or else he'd go to the media with a medical release form and a story.
This court case is still developing. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
