1. Be 'old school' and go trick-or-treating! Wear a mask to disguise your age or take a kid along so that no one refuses to give you candy. -- Nothing is better than hanging with friends and eating free candy.
2. Go to a local college and party! (If you are of age of course). It will be fun to crash a party with some friends and just let loose. Even if you make a fool of yourself, it won't matter because you don't know anyone there.
3. Be a good mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, or neighbor and take your kids out trick-or-treating - and let them have first dibs on the candy for once.
4. Time for a scary movie marathon. Rent all of the classics and just have fun. Eat some candy, sit in the dark, and relive the good times when horror movies were scary.
5. Dress up and answer the door for all the kids. Nothing is more fun than seeing kids smile when you are dressed up and giving them candy.
6. Carve pumpkins. This is the best time to enter a carving contest if you are good. There are a ton all over the internet.
7. Visit a haunted house. Nothing is scarier or more fun.
8. Try a corn maze, it's fun for the family or your friends. Great to see everyone running through it trying to race to find the end.
9. Have a shaving cream or silly string party. Go outside, let loose and have a good time. Just laugh and get into it. Friends love smashing each other in the face with shaving cream.
10. Visit some known haunted places. Nothing is scarier than visiting a place that could potentially be haunted.
