The laws that we all live by in society are manmade laws. Laws are made for the purpose of keeping society in order. If there were no laws to follow, there would be utter chaos in our society.

The laws of the land can and do change as time goes on to meet the needs of a changing society. Since man created these laws, he (or she) can change them as well. Some laws that were made in past centuries for instance may bear little relevance in today’s society. Some of these laws from long ago have either been changed to meet the needs of contemporary society or are no longer in effect. In addition some new laws have been and are being added in accordance with today’s standards.

Spiritual law on the other hand is constant and cannot be changed. Spiritual laws are always in effect whether we are aware of them or not. Take the law of Karma for example. The law of Karma states that whatever we put out into the Universe is what will come back to us. Another way of saying this is, “What goes around comes around” or “What you give is what you get”. Or from a biblical perspective, “What you sow, so shall you reap”. Whatever we say, think, or do; it will come back to us. Some believe the energy will come back three fold. The law of Karma is always in effect, as are all spiritual laws. Spiritual laws cannot be changed.

Another spiritual law is the law of Dharma. The law of Dharma is your purpose in life. When you are in touch with your spiritual self; that is your True Self, you can find your purpose in life. When you are aligned with your purpose in life and use it to serve humanity, you are in Dharma. When you are in Dharma you can attract all the success and abundance you want.

Manmade laws can and will change throughout history in order to adapt to the changing needs of a society. Manmade laws are necessary in order for a society to function. Just as time is a manmade concept to help us keep our life in order. There is no such thing as time in the Spiritual Realm. Time is a manmade concept, which is necessary in order for us to function as human beings. Without time we wouldn’t know who, what , where, or when. Time helps us to keep our life in order.

In contrast, spiritual laws are constant and cannot be changed. Regardless of how many changes humanity experiences, the one constant has always been and always will be the world of Spirit. Spiritual laws will not change. Spirit is the one constant that we can always count on. People change, societies change, laws change, and lives changes. But the one thing that will not change is the world or Spirit.
