What is the difference between love and lust? A lot of people in their twenties don't know. A guy goes out with a girl, sleeps with her, and then forgets her the next day.

Sometimes.

Some men in their twenties and even their thirties are all about how many women they can sleep with. Some are forever this way. Some are not. Women get confused. Especially young women, and then the rest learn to accept it and go along with it.

Some women are sluts and go and sleep with any guy they find to either boost up their low self-esteem or to just feel loved or whatever the case may be.

People in general mix up love with lust. What is love anyway? An emotion? A feeling you get that gives a euphoric feeling. But, you get a euphoric feeling from lust as well. The feeling you get when you are sexually attracted to someone.

Love = Emotions. Lust = Sex. That's it.

Love and hate go hand in hand. There's even a song where the lyrics say " I love you, I kill you; Don't play games with the ones you love."  As easily as you love someone you could hate them if they betray you.

Love is hard. Lust is easy. It is easy to find someone to sleep with then to find someone to love. People go on many years before they find someone they truly care about while they can go to the local bar and find someone to have sex with.

The stimulants released when your in love are Dopamine, Norepinephrine(Adrenaline), Serotonin, Oxytocin, Vasopressin. The stimulants released when in lust are testosterone and estrogen.

When you are in love you work together as a whole. When you are in lust one person works to benefit only him/herself. Love is pure and lust is shallow. Love is loving a person for who they are and lust is loving the person for what they can give us.

So, in the end love is a connection to another's soul, while lust is the desiring of that physical being.
