I was in Las Vegas for the Blog World Expo 2009, and found myself needing frequent transportation. I could cab around, or I could drive a car that I've always wanted to drive (but it had to be one that didn't break the bank).
I decided to try out a Saleen Mustang. It has 325 horsepower, an agressive looking exterior, and one of the most perfectly tuned exhaust notes I've ever heard.
I rented my ride from Rent-a-Vette Exotic Car Rentals, who were very helpful in finding a car that fit my needs.
I thought the car drove very nicely - it had a tight suspension, sweet-shifting gearbox, and a gutteral exhaust that encouraged "enthusiastic" driving.
Criticism? It wasn't really that fast. Sure, compared to your Dodge Intrepid this thing would be a ridiculous upgrade. But compared to the newer Corvettes, Camaros, Challengers, and even the 2010 Mustangs, this thing would barely hang with them. But when you've got the wind in your hair and all you hear is that sweet exhaust, none of that really matters.
