Is This Britney's portable
media player?

Britney Spears may have branded her own iPod for charity, but don’t expect Britney to use one herself if you believe one of the production assistants on the set of her Circus Tour. “Britney has nothing against the iPod, but wants to be unique. Just because everybody else has an iPod or iPod Touch doesn’t mean she should.” This makes sense because Britney Spears always likes thinking outside the box. So what does she supposedly use? “She has music on her Blackberry but also uses something from Samsung to play videos – it is really small and has a really colorful screen.”

Perhaps the production assistant is talking about the Samsung Q2 , a solid, well-priced portable media player that may be good for some, but just doesn’t have the unique design and interface of the iPod or iPod Touch. Britney may want to check out Sony’s OLED Walkman X, which will make its debut very shortly. Expect a full review of the device in this column soon.
