Robin Quivers is a co-host of the popular morning radio program The Howard Stern Show on Sirius satellite radio. Robin Quivers began working with Howard Stern at DC101 radio in Washington, D.C. in 1981. Her 1995 autobiography Quivers: A Life chronicles her traumatic childhood and her rise to stardom as the female voice of reason on The Howard Stern Show. Robin Quivers anchors the end of each Stern show program with a segment called The News with Robin Quivers, during which her co-hosts regularly derail her reports to ridicule the subjects she reports on.
Robin Quivers is often roasted by her Howard Stern Show co-workers for her dieting techniques which include regular bouts of fasting and coffee enemas. Robin Quivers lost a significant amount of weight after starting treatment with her nutritionist “Dr. Ronnie” who sometimes appears on The Howard Stern Show to provide Robin with a mysterious “green drinks” to aid her in her fasts. Speculation as to the contents of Robin’s green drinks are a common during the show are common. Robin Quivers advocates fasts that include going for weeks at a time without chewing. She recently convinced Howard Stern Show executive Tim Sabian to join in on her diet plan. Sabian has lost more than forty pounds since starting Quivers’ diet.
Robin Quivers is a subject of regular obscene song parodies created by show-writers Richard Christy, Sal Governale and fans of the show. Robin and several of her friends have created a charity called Healing Bridges that offers assistance to women and children in the poverty-stricken African country of Eritrea.
Robin Quivers spent many years on The Howard Stern Show dating a man whom she would only refer to on the show as “Mr. X.” More recently, she has dated stand-up comedian and regular show guest Jimmy Florentine.
