A rainbow over Essex, MD after a storm passed on Saturday October 24.  Jim Schuyler

The peak color for fall leaves has arrived in central Maryland.  A storm with winds reaching over 40 mph have stripped some of the trees of their colorful canopy, but not before local photographer Jim Schuyler captured some great images.  Traveling from Essex, by the Chesapeake Bay, to northern Baltimore County and the beautiful Prettyboy Reservoir.  I particularly liked the contrast of colors with the dark clouds, low sun angle and calm water reflecting the line of trees.
