What show gets the dubious honor of being the first one canceled in the new season -- that would be The CW's model madness series The Beautiful Life.

The show got off to a rocky start when star Mischa Barton had to step aside due to some "personal problems.' Ironically, her character on the show was a former top model who was on the outs after taking time off for her own personal issues. Reality show may be popular, but not this kind of reality since the show tanked in the ratings.

I'm actually surprised the series didn't do well. It had that Gossip Girl feel with a touch of glitz. Fashion and modeling shows do well, so this combo should have been a surefire hit.

Want to save The Beautiful Life? I doubt it'll help, but there's a petition you can sign and you can visit the Twitter of one of the stars, Corbin Bleu and express your displeasure. So far, I haven't seen any of those "send something to the studio" campaigns in the works -- I guess they could send skinny jeans and diet pills.
